Colibri Energy Lithium Batteries will play a key role in the decarbonisation of airports and industrial logistics. We are immensely proud to announce that Emerald Technology Ventures, Nabtesco Technology Ventures (NTV) and ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund have invested in Colibri Energy GmbH.

🔋Colibri Energy, a Berlin based company makes modular, low-maintenance lithium-ion battery packs for material handling and ground support (GSE) equipment. It pairs this with an easy-to-use software platform that allows operators and energy managers wide-ranging visibility over their vehicles, helping them save time and money.

🌍Colibri Energy Lithium Batteries are found in 22 airports around the world, including Doha, Frankfurt and Istanbul. Colibri is rapidly scaling production and its product offering.

✈ The global aviation industry faces immense pressure to decarbonize, and airside logistics ranks among the lowest-hanging fruit of this endeavor. Electrifying these vehicles will likely foster growth in the market for industrial batteries, potentially helping it reach $27 billion by 2027, up from $17 billion in 2019.

📃 Just last week in the Netherlands, Dutch Labor Inspection decided that all diesel powered ground vehicles at Royal Schiphol Group need to be electrified to reduce exposure to exhaust gasses for personnel, which demonstrates market momentum for solutions such as those offered by Colibri. ➡ tinyurl.com/46xscn6p

We look forward to the ongoing support and cooperation with our investors in the global net-zero race.
